I was born in Ankara, in 1984. I’ve graduated from Yeditepe University Industrial Design department.
I’m dealing with import trade with my partner Halil Beşkardeşler, also one of my teammates from MSSK. I’ve started to live at Heybeliada since I was so young and I’m interested in swimming, sailing and water polo at Heybeliada since those days. Afterwards, I’ve been transferred to MSSK. My father was as assigned as director of Heybeliada Water Sports Club and that’s how I started swimming.

I’ve swum for Heybeliada for 15 years as a licensed swimmer. I also played water polo for 20 years. I’ve earned 5 Turkish League runner up places and 7 Turkish League 3rd places. I’ve played for national team for both swimming and water polo national teams at the same time and then I preferred to go on with water polo. I’ve been a player of Turkish National team which achieved the greatest successes in Turkish water polo history (3rd place at 2005 Universiade, Champion at 2009 European B Championship, 10th place at 2010 Europe Championship).

I believe that a good hobby is what prepares people to life best. Normal life is not so different from our sports life. You have the chance to see all kinds of people and to eliminate or I can even say that they eliminate themselves. Furthermore, team sports teach you to act as a team, to share and to support each other very well. I don’t think that I’ll playing water polo actively 10 years from now on. Our support to MSSK would be to encourage young people at our districts and to direct them to this sports. The biggest advantages of MMSK is having a president who is coming within this sport and continuously increasing resources and facilities. Therefore, MSSK will always be competing for the upper table even in 10 years from now on.
